What we carried.

Everything we set out with — and what survived 474 days on the road. Around 162 items between the two of us.

What we set out with, what we lost, what we replaced. Items in red were dropped during the trip; green were added; purple were exchanged. Most of what we packed at the start did not survive 474 days unchanged.

We started with 75L + 65L packs; by the end we'd downsized considerably. The 38L "essentials only" version is at the bottom — what we'd take if we did it all over again.
